2022 Green Ribbon School Award to Cambridge Elementary
Each year the US Dept of Education recognizes up to five early learning through 12th grade school or district candidates and one postsecondary institution in each state for leadership on sustainable facilities, health practices, and effective environmental education. Koshkonong Trails Teacher Skylar Primm
Skylar Primm was the 2021 Wisconsin Association for Environmental Education's Formal Environmental Educator of the Year.
Cambridge Elementary School installed a 192 kW solar array on the Cambridge Elementary School in 2021. The district received a Solar on Schools grant for the installation.
Cambridge High School has an Eco Club.
Cambridge Farm to School is a volunteer-run school garden program that provides programming for Cambridge students.
The Cambridge Elementary School Forest features a system of trails and learning spaces, built and maintained by students and volunteers. The woods received the designation of a School Forest in 2011 when the school submitted a forest education plan to the School Forest Program at UW-Stevens Point.
