There is 602 kW of solar installed at Harvest Intermediate and DeForest Area High School. The solar is projected to save the district $1.18M over its lifetime.

The district has implemented numerous projects to save energy at district facilities. The Harvest Intermediate School, for example, has a geothermal heating and cooling system in addition to solar panels.
