Lake Farm is Dane County’s first solar-powered park and campground. The 71.8 kW solar energy system at William G. Lunney Lake Farm County Park and Campground includes PV on the roof of the shower building and on the roof of a park shelter. This system will provide almost 90% of the electricity used at the campground.The 230 panelsystem complements a similar installation that powers the adjacent Lussier Family Heritage Center facility.
